Meet The Designer

My name is Brandy Hughes, and I am the owner and designer of Brandy Design Studio. I have always wanted to be a fashion designer, so after high school I left Austin to attend FIDM in Los Angeles. After graduating in 2015, I moved back to Austin to start my career in bridal design. After about 5 years of bridal alterations I decided to open my own business in February of 2020. Since starting my alterations business, I have evolved to the design side of things. I was able to show my own bridal line at Austin Fashion Week in 2021, and then again for New York Fashion Week in 2022. I've also had my designs published in Texas Weddings Magazines, Rocky Mountain Bride, and Wed Society Austin and Hill Country. I was also thrilled to have been the winner of the Austin Hall of Fame Business 2022, 2023, and 2024.
