How long do alterations take to complete?

I prefer 8-15 weeks to comfortably preform alterations, but have rush options from 6 weeks to same day.

My dress is late coming in- what do I do?

Don't panic! Dresses often time come in a bit later than expected. Just email me as soon as you know, and I'll get you switched!

How long do custom dresses take to complete? When should I come in?

Custom wedding dresses take about 6 months to complete from start to finish. I don't recommend starting more than 9 months before the wedding so you have a clear idea of exactly what you want.

When should I book?

I always recommend reaching out as soon as you purchase the dress! It's never too early. If that time has passed, try to get on my schedule about 2-3 months before coming in.

How much do alterations cost?

The price for alterations varies based on the complexity of the dress, and how much you need done. The average price for my standard alterations are about $600.

What should I do to prepare for a custom wedding dress consult?

I always recommend going to a couple bridal salons to see first hand what fit/ styles you like or don't like before investing in a custom gown. Once you know what you like, you can come on in with inspo pics and I'll draw up a design we agree on!

How does payment work for alterations?

A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking an appointment- this will go towards your final invoice. 50% of your total invoice is due at the first fitting, and the remaining balance is due at pick up.

How does payment work for custom dresses?

A do not require payment for a consultation. Once it is agreed to move forward, a deposit will be made prior to ordering fabrics and notions. The deposit is the cost of materials. After the mockup is complete a 50% payment is due, and the remaining at your pick up.
